Overview
The Bryophyte Pedestal table takes form in a satin-rubbed stainless steel monolith. From above, the rectangular prism reveals an ecosystem of mosses suspended in resin. Dimmable LEDs illuminate the lichen from beneath. A reflective cavity and flush-to-edge glass surface separate the pedestal’s function and the environment it contains, asking the user to admire but never touch its inner world.
