NOLI ME TANGERE BENCH

This bench combines a 19th-century French gothic church pew and custom cushions with collaged paintings from an 18th-century Latin and German Compendium of Demonology and Magic. By integrating iconographical pieces, the dichotomy of sinful and pious is introduced. Sometimes, there is beauty in blasphemy.
