Set within a Greenwich Village residence that once served as a gallery, this project asked us to translate an unusual architectural inheritance into a home. Studio S II approached the space not to erase its former life, but to extend it; honoring the discipline of light, proportion, and openness that gallery walls demand, while reimagining the rooms for the rhythms of daily living. Through a series of renders and floor plans, we charted a path that expands on the residence's creative lineage: preserving its capacity to hold art and attention, while giving it the warmth and function of a home.
